Where can you listen?

A daily podcast hosted by Larry Koestler analyzing The New York Times' world-famous crossword puzzle, Spelling Bee, World, Connections, and more! We'll break down each day's puzzles, host special guests, and periodically solve in real-time!

What makes me an expert on the Times' suite of word games? I got hooked on the crossword after a subscription to the The New York Times was a requirement of our social studies class during junior year as a high schooler at Stuyvesant in New York City. I'd immediately flip to the Arts & Leisure section and was giddy with excitement at filling out the grid in print.

I eventually shifted over to the app, and thousands of puzzles later, I am a top solver, and routinely finish the Friday and Saturday crosswords in under 10 minutes.

If you enjoy the Times' word games as much as I do (I haven't taken to Pips yet) you'll enjoy my commentary on each day's puzzles. (also, how on earth has no one else previously started a crossword podcast?)

We're also still figuring this thing out as we go, and welcome feedback / suggestions. You can reach us at [email protected] or leave us a voicemail at ‪(281) 944-8871‬.

We're looking forward to building a friendly and robust community of puzzle lovers!
