THE DANFO SERIES
Welcome aboard the Danfo, Lagos’ most unpredictable stage.
Every day, strangers from different walks of life squeeze into these iconic yellow buses, each carrying a destination, a story, an opinion, and sometimes, a little trouble.
Inside a Danfo, anything can happen. Arguments erupt. Secrets slip out. Wisdom comes from unexpected voices. Strangers become allies—or enemies. There is laughter, tension, kindness, chaos, heartbreak and, occasionally, danger.
But beneath it all is something unmistakably human.
The Danfo Series is an immersive audio drama that turns an everyday Lagos commute into a vibrant portrait of life in one of Africa’s most fascinating cities. Through unforgettable characters, humour, conflict and compelling storytelling, each episode explores the conversations, encounters and social realities that unfold when different lives collide inside one small yellow bus.
Everybody has a destination. Everybody has a story. Welcome aboard.
