Aristotles Poetics, written in the 4th century B.C., serves as a profound exploration of storytelling. It delves into essential concepts such as the unity of plot, reversals of situation, and character development within the realms of Greek tragedy, comedy, and epic poetry. Its insights remain incredibly relevant today, especially among screenwriters and those in the film industry, who often reference it in their craft. (Summary by Robert Foster)
