Dive into the full story of Ca7riel, one of the most genre-defying and boundary-breaking artists to emerge from Argentina's explosive urban music scene. Ca7riel Biography Flash is your ultimate deep-dive destination for everything about Catriel Guerreiro Fernández Peñaloza, the Buenos Aires-born musician who went from playing guitar in cover bands to winning five Latin Grammy Awards and performing at Coachella, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and on sixty-stop world tours spanning four continents. Hosted by the energetic Roxie Rush, this show covers the full arc of Ca7riel's remarkable journey, from his music-filled childhood and formal training at the Juan Pedro Esnaola School of Music to his breakout solo EPs, his acclaimed solo album El Disko, and his groundbreaking creative partnership with Paco Amoroso. Explore how their viral NPR Tiny Desk Concert introduced the duo to a global audience, how their EP Papota earned ten Latin Grammy nominations and five wins including Best Alternative Music Album, and how they became only the second Argentine act ever to perform on The Tonight Show. Whether you are a longtime fan of Argentine trap and urban music or you are just discovering Ca7riel for the first time, this podcast delivers verified, well-researched biographical content alongside regular updates on his latest releases, performances, awards, and news. If you love music that refuses to be boxed in and artists who rewrite the rules, Ca7riel Biography Flash is the show for you.
